Members of the Acholi Parliamentary Group have rejected the government plan to resettle some residents from the East Madi Wildlife Reserve, which is part of the disputed land in Apaa.
On Monday, cabinet resolved to compensate the people and have them resettle elsewhere. However, the Acholi MPs say the land belong to Amuru district and the people should stay put.
Meanwhile, MPs from Karamoja sub-region have also rejected the government decision to allocate the land in dispute between the Napak and Katakwi district border to Katakwi.
