In this video I discuss the concept of 'incidental training'. That is to say: training that isn't part of a workout but rather just a part of your usual daily routine.
Incidental exercise means finding ways to insert a little exercise into your day. This invariably means making healthy choices such as climbing the stairs, or getting off the bus early to go for a walk. These options all add up and mean that you are spending less time on your butt and more time moving.
Incidental training takes this one step further: turning every day activities into an opportunity to train. That might mean using a grip trainer while the kettle boils, or it might mean performing calf raises off a curb at the bus stop.
