Hey guys!

In this video I'm going to show you how to do 2 modifications to your KASTKING VALIANT EAGLE 2. Be sure to watch the entire video as there’s a ton of information in this one.

The 1st mod is one of three methods of reducing the magnetic braking force by removing 1 of the two brake shoes in the sideplate. There are 2 other methods that are out there and I will link them below:

-An alternative to using a steel can like Zen did, as not all steel is ferromagnetic, is to use nickel foil. I have not done this and do not have any examples but the gentleman who spoke with me about this method has an Instagram account @telle_perche_tel_fish

The 2nd mod were going to do is to replace all of the handle knob bushings and replace them with ball bearings to make the reel into an 11+1 ball bearing reel like KESTREL ELITE BFS. You will need to purchase the bearings from the following non-affiliate link:
