Not all brakes are the same:
This short video demonstrates the amount of flex that is in the Brembo mono block calipers, under a pressure of 800 PSI (± 55 BAR) the dial indicator shows how weak the caliper actually is and how much is flexes.
On the right is the Stoptech Caliper, a fully forged 2-piece design with StopTech’ s patented bolt-in bridge. As you can see that even though its put on the same pressure, it doesn’t flex at all, proving that a well-designed 2-piece design can be better than a monoblock.
StopTech 2-piece calipers have the lowest amount of flex and deflection among 25 of the leading caliper models (including some monoblocks) from well-known manufacturers.
