Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families and our partners have worked with lawmakers to make substantial changes to the state's juvenile justice system. Through our combined efforts, fewer children will be placed in juvenile facilities, and those who are will be in for less time. Juvenile judges now have the tools they need to make tailored plans for convicted young people, including community-based programs, which are proven to improve outcomes for kids.
