YSRCP MLA Nagari Roja in Chittoor district is likely to face the extension of a one-year suspension. YSRCP MLA was suspended for a year during the winter session of the AP Assembly in December last year. She was suspended for allegedly using unparliamentary language in the House against the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and TDP MLA Anitha. According to the reports, TDP MLA Anitha complained to the Privilege Committee of AP Assembly against Roja's behavior in the Assembly. The Committee is learned to have not satisfied with the explanation submitted by Roja and it is likely that YSRCP MLA may not be able to present the Assembly proceedings starting from March 6, 2017. There is an indication that Roja's suspension will be enhanced for one more year.
