In this video I use the Veritas Sharpening System to completely restore an old chisel and block plain with just sandpaper. I used 4 different grits of sandpaper (150, 220, 1000, and 2000) and used spray adhesive to stick them to a marble tile. The results were INCREDIBLE! There are super expensive sharpening stones out there but for my purposes, this works great. I used to be embarrassed by my chisels and block plane but I will no longer live with those insecurities thanks to this sharpening method. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!
