Time for another fruit taste test. Summer is melon season! I am going to review and tell you how to eat the lemon drop melon and do a taste test. The lemon drop melon is an interesting melon. It is a hybrid of the Galia melon and other high citric acid content melons. It is grown here in Arizona and was actually developed here. I am not sure how widely distributed it is, or if you can find them in your state or country. Texturewise they are like a canteloupe, crisp, and have a more tart taste, with a hint of lemon, hence the name lemon drop melon.

Lemon Drop Melon Nutritional Benefits
- High in Vitamin C
- High in Vitamin B6
- High in Potassium
- High in Fiber

To eat them, just cut them up like you would a cantaloupe or honey dew.
