The upper chamber also says the letter read by its President, Godswill Akpabio, on Friday was not a call for war against Niger Republic but the resolutions of ECOWAS leaders.
Rising from a two-hour closed door session on Saturday, the Upper Chamber mandated its leadership to further engage with President Bola Tinubu on how best to resolve the crisis in Niger Republic in view of the hitherto cordial relationship between Nigerians and Nigeriens.
