Review and Installation of the JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 194 168 2825 W5W T10 LED Bulbs in Brilliant Red ([ Ссылка ]). Using these normal Interior use LED’s for converting my car’s tail lights from generic cheap bulbs, to these Super Bright Red 194 LED’s from JDM ASTAR. My 2007 Lincoln MKZ originally had clear filament bulbs, which I switched to budget 194’s for testing. After numerous failures across all 8 of the tail light bulbs, I decided to use something a bit more reliable and found these JDM Canbus Error Free 3014 Chipsets LED Bulb’s to have an excellent reputation for LED performance and lifespan.

In this video review, I also show how to remove old automotive rear lights using a trim/fastener removal tool, or by using a DIY clip pry tool made out of a household fork. Removing the auto fastener clips in the trunk of a vehicle is fairly easy and quick, which gives you access to the area where tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, and rear turn signals can most likely be accessed. From there, rotate the old bulb out of the light housing mount, which is usually sealed by an o-ring to prevent moisture buildup inside the light assembly. Pull the old bulb from its socket, replace it with the new LED Bulb, test to ensure it functions (remove and flip around for polarity of LED bulb and test again if doesn’t turn on), install the bulb adapter into the light housing assembly opposite of how it came out, and you should be all set!

LED Bulbs are beginning to be more widely used throughout cars and trucks around the world. This is because LED technology has come to a point of providing enough lumens for automotive use, at the same time, prices are more comparable to regular bulbs than what they used to be. Along with that, LED’s use a fraction of the energy vs the filament or halogen bulbs; produce a fraction of the heat output, which in turn provides a longer lifespan of the LED bulb, sometimes upwards of 60,000 hours! LED bulbs come in numerous variations, including colors, sizes, shapes, light projection methods, and even the ability to remotely control them! For the price, LED bulbs are now the way to go… Just be sure to use quality LED products for automotive use, like JDM ASTAR, or be prepared to potentially replace flickering or dead LED bulbs occasionally!
