We chose the camel safari across the sand dunes at sunset. Traditionally camels are loyal travel companions and modes of transport for Bedouin traversing the desert, their nourishing milk is still considered a health elixir and camel meat provided food which was scarce in the desert. Nowadays the camel is still highly regarded and seen as a symbol of Dubai's cultural heritage.
