Flamingo Las Vegas is located on Las Vegas Boulevard between the Cromwell Las Vegas and The LINQ Las Vegas. The Flamingo opened in December 1946 with a built cost of $6 million. It is the oldest remaining establishment on the Las Vegas Strip. After many renovations over the years, the Flamingo has 3,460 hotel room. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. It is home to shows like Wayne Newton, RuPaul's Drag Race Live!, X Burlesque, and Piff the Magic Dragon. It features restaurants like Bugsy & Meyer's Steakhouse and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. The popular Bird Bar closed down and will be replaced with Gordon Ramsay Burger later this year. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville closed for good in June 2024. Pinky's by Vanderpump is expected to open in the fall in the former poker room space.
