Recording with score of Essència [Essence] for piano by Xavier Pagès-Corella performed by the composer.

This work was written in 1990, when the composer was 19 years old, and was premiered by the composer on October 26 of the same year in the Auditorium of the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyers Industrials de Barcelona ( ETSEIB). It is dedicated to Àngels Melgosa.
