Tasmanian devils are the world’s largest carnivorous marsupials.
They can eat up to 40% of their body weight in a single feeding.
Tasmanian devils have the strongest bite per body size of any mammal.
Their iconic screeches were once thought to be demonic, hence their name.
They are endangered due to a contagious form of cancer known as Devil Facial Tumor Disease.
