Welcome to our no dig/ no till garden where we grow veg. Although we grow our veg from our back garden it is very much set up like allotment gardening in the uk. You will see how growing your own food is so easy. Why not grow some aubergines (egg plant) this year. Today I show you how to sow aubergine from seed. It pays to grow these heat loving plants under cover, in my case in the greenhouse.The no dig soil is free of weeds, and the abundant soil life means I don't need use feeds or fertilisers. We simply spread about 2in of compost once a year. February is the time to start sowing your Aubergine seeds, but we like to start ours off a bit earlier.
