Quattro is a great example of one of Beneteau's most popular models, the Oceanis 43.
The hull by Berret Racoupeau is a joy to look at and pleasure to sail with a classic, yet modern look. She's fast under sail with her fractional, classic rig plan, and powers through the ocean swell or club racing fleet thanks to her overlapping genoa.
Entry on the yacht is via a fixed transom which is both easy to jump off when berthing or swimming, with less moving parts. This allows for storage within the aft transom seating while still being easy to walk through moving into the cockpit. The cockpit area is large and well thought out, covered by a bimini and dodger which protects from the sun or rain. There is an electric halyard winch to make hoisting and pulling on sails a breeze along with 3 other well located Harken winches for easy, short handed sail handling.
This is the standard Beneteau factory 3 cabin, 2 head layout and consist of two aft cabins (equal), an inline galley and navigation table to port. A day head and dining saloon is to starboard. There is an owners' cabin forward with ensuite. There is an upgraded, folding saloon table and all timber is classic Beneteau Alpi mahogany. There are plenty of opening hatches and windows to bring in lots of ventilation and natural light.
Quattro is fully equipped with coastal cruising and club racing in mind in and has all the gear needed for new owners to day sail on the harbour or head off on great new adventures up and down the coast.
Antifouled in January 2024. Berthed at the CYCA in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.
