Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 30g (2 tbsp) sugar
- 120ml (½ cup) warm milk
- 30g (2 tbsp) melted butter
- 4g (1 tsp) instant yeast
- 300g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
- 4g (¾ tsp) salt
- Glaze: 3 tbsp milk, 1 tsp flour, 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Combine egg, sugar, and warm milk in a bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves.
2. Mix in melted butter and yeast until dissolved.
3. Gradually sift in flour and salt. Stir until no dry flour remains.
4. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes, then knead until smooth and elastic (5-8 minutes).
5. Allow the dough to rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Divide into 9 equal portions, shape into balls, and arrange in a lined baking pan.
7. Let rise again for 45-60 minutes.
8. Brush with the glaze and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18-22 minutes.
9. Enjoy warm and fluffy rolls!
