Looking at the ceramic glass surface, you’ll notice that unlike traditional electric cooktops, there are no defined circular cooking zones. Instead, there are two large rectangular zones, each containing two cooking points. Thanks to the pan detection technology, the cooktop will efficiently use only the area occupied by your pan, providing you with the flexibility required to cook however you like. If you want to cook with a long piece of cookware, such as a fish pan, you can combine the two cooking zones into a single large area, allowing you to easily cook more evenly.

The cooking zones are managed from the touch controls at the front of the unit. Simply select the zone you want, and slide its control up to the right power level. A PowerBoost setting is available to quickly provide high-intensity heating, and you can also set a Timer to automatically switch off the heat after a set period of time.

Some special features of this cooktop include its BoilControl function that rapidly heats a zone up to a certain temperature, then automatically cools back down enough to evenly maintain this heat level. A StayWarm setting is also available for keeping your food ready to serve once it’s done, without overcooking it.

The cooktop has also been designed to operate more quietly, keeping your kitchen more peaceful during cooking.
