The book of Genesis is the “Book of Beginnings,” the first book of the Bible, and opens with one of the most popular first sentences of any scholarly work: "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." It's where we find the renowned accounts of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the Ark, Abraham and Isaac, and a handsome visionary named Joseph.
