In this video, we discus an alternative to conventional wetsuit boots. This is the Altama Maritime Assault boot. This boot is a more robust modern version of the Chuck Taylor basketball boot that many divers have used in the past. The boot includes nylon uppers, padding, large water vent holes, and a non-absorbent insole. Our initial impression is that the boot is likely to fit in most fin pockets, offers non-skid footing, and good ankle support.
