Sky News host Chris Kenny has urged critics of the Voice to Parliament to stick to the facts and not run “baseless scare campaigns”.
Mr Kenny said there are a lot of “furphies” being thrown around about the Voice.
“Furphies like ‘the Voice positions never involving elections’ are just wrong,” he said.
“Suggestions the National Indigenous Australians Agency is already the Voice are wrong, that's essentially just the Department of Indigenous Affairs and the people who pretend it's effectively a Voice know that, and suggestions the Voice would have to be consulted on police operations are simply absurd.
“All these furphies are designed to create fear and alarm.”
