Keet van Zyl is a high-growth venture investor and venture catalyst with extensive high-growth investment experience. Keet co-founded VC firm Knife Capital decade ago to manage a portfolio of investments and raise third-party funds for growth equity investments. 

What makes Van Zyl’s investment approach with Knife Capital unique is a holistic ‘Find-Make-Grow-Realise’ value-chain. Van Zyl and his team actively look out for exciting SMEs to invest in, whom they do due diligence on before presenting fair terms for the investment. Knife Capital then actively take part in growing the businesses, with the goal of creating sustainable, profitable entities before exit. In 2020, Knife Capital will launch KNF Ventures Fund 2, and continues to work on ways to plug the Series-B funding gap that exists in SA.
