Printing can be scary, but even if you send most of your work out, you can start printing your own high quality ink jet prints. There are lots of small desk top units that will get you going, and if you have a bigger printer, Tim's techniques will make you better and more efficient in your digital lab.
I use Epson Ultra Premium Lustre in sheets.on the video. (super availability) Kodak Premium Lustre in rolls for larger color prints. (Harder to find, but worth it.) Moab Colorado Fibre Gloss for Fine Art BW and Epson Fine Art Hot Press Bright for double weight art prints. I do my canvas the traditional way; (send it out) for peeled emulsion transfer and mount. WHCC does that now, so I no longer have to.
