In this fishing episode I am doing kayak fishing for perch with a dropshot rig. I was fishing early in the morning at a lake not far from Gothenburg. Dropshot fishing is a great technique to catch perch especially from a boat or a kayak. I was using a small soft plastic lure, 6 cm long, designed for rainbow trout. This lure vibrates well after only a tiny movement of the rod tip and thus makes perch to bite. It worked well today to catch small and medium size perch.

My gear:
- Rod: Okuma Psycho Perch UFR Spin 7'7'' 230cm 3-18g - 2sec.
- Reel: Daiwa 18 Ninja LT 2000.
- braided main line with a diameter of 0.12 mm, fluorocarbon leader with a diameter of 0.4 mm.
