Chelsea has appointed Filipe Coelho, an impressive Portuguese coach, to train their second team. Coelho, who has had a successful stint with the Estoril U23 team in Portugal, is known for his remarkable achievements, including winning the Portuguese youth league title and the youth cup. The 39-year-old, who previously spent 13 years at Benfica, is set to sign a three-year deal with Chelsea. His arrival comes at a time of significant change within the club, following the departures of long-standing figures Jim Fraser and Neil Bath. This move indicates a shift in Chelsea's approach to youth development, as they opt for an external hire from abroad to lead their second team.
