Parvo is treated with a combination of IV fluids, antibiotics to prevent sepsis and antiemetics to allow early nutrition.
Parvo is highly contagious and during treatment the infected dogs need to be isolated to protect other animals from becoming infected.
Special PPE is worn to maintain a physical barroer from the infected dogs.
