The cocktail world had its lost ingredients, but so does the soda fountain and Champagne Syrup is one of those ingredients. Champagne soda came about in the early 1900s but prohibition cut its development short. Champagne syrup was the key ingredient and it is a fantastic way to create new and interesting sodas as well as add a twist to classic cocktails and highballs.
Champagne Syrup Recipe
470 ml Simple Syrup (3:2)
470 ml Riesling Wine
30 ml Brandy
15 ml Sherry
