Keynoting our inaugural service design conference, the extraordinary Mari Nakano shows us step-by-step how to identify and map the stakeholders, community, and ecosystem who are invested in and affected by the service design and co-design work that we seek to do. She'll also share book and reading recommendations, advice for inclusion and consent, and really good vibes.
We had to edit out the music breaks due to copyright, of course, but you can groove to Mari's conference playlist on Spotify! [ Ссылка ]

Presenters:
Mari Nakano served for five years as the Design Director at the New York City Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity (NYCO) and led NYCO’s Service Design Studio, considered the first municipal service design team in the nation. The studio’s work helped government colleagues understand and apply service design methodologies to improve services, programs, and processes through evidence-based, user-centered, and creative approaches. Mari is currently building a practice centered around relationship and community-building, food justice, sustainability, and planetary repair. She spends part of her time as an adjunct faculty and thesis advisor at the MFA Design for Social Innovation Program at the School of Visual Arts.
