In this video, I discuss the question do credit pulls hurt my credit? Some folks are hesitant to have their credit ran because they feel the credit pull will hurt their credit score. When first-time buyers call me to get pre-approved, they often ask this question. When we do a mortgage, credit pulls to complete a pre-approval many people are concerned this will hurt their credit score. While credit pulls can affect your credit score if you have multiple pulls from different industries, the truth is a mortgage credit pull isn't going to crash your score. Another thing to keep in mind is that multiple credits pulls within a 30-day period will all show up as 1 single pull to the credit agency's algorithm.
