Often known as 'Garma', it is a Tibetan home-made candy made from Jaggery, a coarse dark brown sugar made in India by evaporation of the sap of palm tree.
This video gives you an overview of the recipe and process in making a 'Garma'. The Garma is given a finishing touch with the sprinkling of 'Tsampa' (barley flour).
