Teams without psychological safety will struggle to become self-organizing or high achieving. Trust and openness are foundational to teams' ability to learn, communicate openly, and manage internal accountability.
It can be daunting to try and unpack and implement meaningful changes on a team if you've only ever worked with antipatterns. In this presentation, Jessica will review two teams, one with low psychological safety and one with high psychological safety. She'll examine the behaviors that expose the lack of or clear evidence for psychological safety and provide practical suggestions to help improve this foundational characteristic of high-performing teams.
