Our 48 hours in Cusco, Peru! During our recent 2 week trip to Peru we only had 2 full days in Cusco, in which we took a tour of the nearby Sacred Valley and a spent a day exploring the city of Cusco.

DAY ONE: We booked a full day tour of the Sacred Valley with Alpaca Expeditions. The tour took us to an alpaca farm, El Mirador overlook of the Sacred Valley, the Pisac Ruins, and the Ollantaytambo Ruins.

DAY TWO: First we visited the San Pedro Market, then we walked the streets of downtown and perused the local shops and markets for souvenirs. We explored the Plaza de Armas and ate at some delicious restaurants!

It was a wonderful 48 hours in Cusco, Peru! We could have easily spent more time here and hope to visit Cusco again someday and explore more of this beautiful city.
