Was curious how the $54 Phantom would stack-up to some of my High-end reels. This was not in any way the ultimate scientific test, just me in the front yard checking it out. In my previous video the wind was in my face, #50 braid, and I only tested the Phantom. A friend wanted a better test so here it is. I measured off the first 100' then held the end of the tape with a screwdriver in the ground and stretched it out another 96'. After 180' cast with the Steez, I thought I might need more, but this was sufficient. My friend brought me a Okuma Helios to add to the mix but I had already finished. I will put it to the test in an upcoming video.
