Tommy and Muireann are joined by Political Correspondent Aoife Moore to discuss the Northern Ireland election.
Aoife tells them that this is the first election in Northern Ireland since 2015. She states that voters will go to the polls across 18 constituencies to elect 90 MLAs.
She says that it is likely Sinn Féin will top the poll, and the Alliance Party is tipped to have a surge in support.
She has concerns that DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson could collapse Stormont again if Sinn Féin win the polls and Michelle O’Neill is elected as First Minister.
Taoiseach Micháel Martin has urged Jeffrey Donaldson to respect the outcome of the election, that this is a democratic vote, and that he cannot collapse Stormont again.
Tommy asks Aoife if she worries about the impact of having Sinn Féin being in government, a party which wants a border poll and if she expects violence to occur.
She states she worries that the DUP and what they decide to do if they do not win the election, about the outcome of a collapsed Stormont will have on Northern Ireland - which has one of the highest levels of poverty in the UK.
