This is a "Only What You Need to Know" OWYNK video on using an Opteka 500mm mirror lens on the Canon Rebel T3i without a tripod. The images were cropped to 16x9 in. @ 150 pixels and hit with a little bit of brightness/contrast in an OLD Photoshop 6.0 ... and then one hit for sharpen. This Photoshop treatment is standard with almost whatever we shoot ... with or without a Mirror lens, for the web. This is not meant to be a example of art gallery photography, just what can be done with a 500mm mirror lens on a "crop" camera. The video was then built in PhotoDirector 9.0. with no other manipulation and produced as a MPEG-4 file at the mid range "high quality." The opening video was shot on a T3i with a Nikon 50mm F1.4 SC lens, and processed in Adobe Premier. We definitely don't like the shallow depth of field on the mirror lens for close ups.
