So I have been struggling with my riding on dexter for about a month now. I had been getting very fixated about him being into two reins and although I was well aware of what I was doing I couldn't shake this one thought when riding him, I knew I needed him to have him going for himself more (in-front of the leg) but all my focus was going into a problem I didn't even have.

The regionals was the awakening I needed to get my training priorities in order and see the big picture. This is why it is important for me to regularly compete.
Today I rode him with this in mind and he went beautifully!
