Our ponies don’t generally need horseshoes, this is called having a ‘barefoot pony’. It’s something that is becoming increasingly popular in the horsey world.

Shetland ponies have good strong, sturdy hooves that don’t often crack
The children who ride are lightweight and don’t put pressure on the pony's hooves
