The second webinar in the series focuses on the important topic of the evolving rules regarding State Authorization of postsecondary institutions as a component of Title IV institutional eligibility. Attorneys Peter Leyton and Katherine Brodie will discuss the current status of the Department of Education's state authorization rule promulgated after the 2010 Title IV Program Integrity rulemaking and the status of the Department's rulemaking regarding state authorization for foreign locations and for distance education. They will also discuss the status of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) and the issues that have emerged over the past year with regard to the impact of the state authorization rule on postsecondary institutions.
