A mermaid basking in the sun on a chilly spring day in Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is a cold lake, even in the summertime. In the spring, the water is numbingly cold. So it is not an ideal time to swim around as a mermaid. lol. Instead, it is a good time for mermaids to bask in the sun and attempt to keep warm and not shiver. Hehehehe!
