Last year, Deputy Speaker Phil Ramos proudly announced the start of a major milestone—the groundbreaking for the Central Islip Downtown Revitalization project.
Deputy Speaker Ramos has been a champion for Central Islip and in 2018, he fought to secure $10 million in state funds to transform the area. Today, we’re seeing the results of that hard work with the completion of the sewer installation, paving the way for new businesses to thrive, and the repaving of Carlton Avenue.
Central Islip is a vibrant and growing community, and its infrastructure must evolve to meet the demands of the future. Connecting to the Suffolk County Sewer system will help businesses grow and prosper, ensuring the best services for our residents.
