One might think that in Florida, it’s never cold enough for anything to freeze. But this iguana proves that's not the case. The reptile was spotted in the Miami-area lying on the street in a frozen state. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation, green iguanas don’t adjust well to cold weather since they are an invasive species with origins in warmer climates. So when the temperature drops, they lose muscle control and often fall out of trees.
