Join me for great tale from Ancient Greek history. The Greeks loved their sport, for them it had great social, political and religious significance. It's a subject we have looked at before on this channel but in this video I want to focus on the brutality and violence of Greek boxing and in particular the infamous fight between Kreugas and Damoxenos at the Nemean Games, one of the four great PanHellenic games of Ancient Greece. No other boxing match in history could be as horrific as this!
