My name is Jonas Lusalusa
I am Congolese from Kisangani.
This Lingala Lesson is about
repeated words.
It is made of 3 examples:
Example 1.
A) Mustapha aza wapi?
Where is Mustapha?
B) Na yebi te. Na monaki ye azalaki ko leka-leka
awa na velo naye.
I don't know. I saw him passing here with his bicycle.
To pass = Ko leka Ko leke-leka means
(To pass by more than once)
(To pass by again and again)
Example 2.
A) Ba nani yango ba zalaki wana.
Who was there?
B) Na koyeba ndenge nini? Salle etondaki.
Na monaki batu ya ndenge na ndenge.
How am I going to know? The room was full.
I saw all kinds of people.
Example 3.
A) Leur na monaki foto oyo, na seki, na seki, na seki.
When I saw this photo, I laughed really hard.
