Sonified video from the Sensing the Dynamic Universe project of some observations of an EA type eclipsing binary. The 107 observations take place over only about 2 and a half hours. The video shows the primary minimum of this system, or when the secondary star eclipses the primary. The observations are impressively high in resolution, with each beat corresponding to a minute in real-time. The video scans over time (x-axis) and modulates pitch based on magnitude (y-axis). Lower pitch represents dimmer magnitudes.
