A report by NPR has captured an unlikely friendship from two sides of social media. Following the painting of a large mural inspired by a viral photograph which captured a young woman embracing her deceased niece in Gaza, an artist from Ireland forged an unexpected friendship with the victim.
This connection has inspired the painting of a new mural in Dublin, commemorating two-year-old Masa, the child tragically killed in an Israeli airstrike.
