So in this video, we are going to be talking about my top five cold email tips you got to know if you want to dominate B2B sales.
So what can you do to increase your response rate and close more leads for your business ?
1: The Subject Line
So the first thing you can do is to work on the subject line
Subject line is super important. It’s the first thing that your lead will see.
The 2 most important things in cold emailing are click through rate and response rate. But in order to increase your response rate you first need to increase your click through rate.
The click through rate represent the percentage of time a user will open your email.
And the factor that has the biggest impact on click through rate is the Subject line.
Keep in mind that your lead receive probably hundreds of emails, why would he click on yours ?
Personalize your subject line is a great starting point. It has been proven that including the first name of your lead in the subject line increase the open rate by 40%.
2: A/B Test everything
When you send a cold emailing campaign, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. So you need a process to understand what works and what doesn’t. This is why A/B testing is so important.
Sometimes changing just a single word of your email can have a huge impact on your open rate.
adaptation is a crucial part of cold emailing.
Track response rate with a specific subject line A and then with another subject line B. If you see that you get more responses with B then you must Digg in that direction.
The goal with A/B testing is to increase your open rate every single time

Personalize
Most important point. Make the reader feel like he is important. Take a minute to include something about the prospect before to personalize the email and stand out from the crowd.
When you just send a generic email marketing template it doesn’t really resonate. Think about your own experience, when you receive a cold email won’t you be more keen to answer an email that says « Hey Dom, I saw your last YouTube video about cold emailing and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for my blog post », or a generic email « Hello, if you are interesting in guest post please reply back ».
The first one, of course.

Following up
You have to remember that following up is very important.
Most of the time your leads will see your emails and want to response but something just came up and they completely forget about it.
That’s why follow up is so important. There are several strategies for following up but generally the rule is to followup at least 3 times and each follow up should come between three to 7 days.
If your leads doesn’t respond to your first email, don’t take it personally . And keep in mind that they are probably busy so you just have to keep hanging them until they respond.

Book a meeting
Don’t try to sell your product directly through cold outreach.
Many try but it’s actually pretty difficult because buyers need confidence to buy, because they want to make sure they can trust you, they can trust your product, they want to read your reviews. But you can’t answer all those questions through email outreach. That’s why the main goal of any cold email campaign should be to book a phone call. You can build confidence through a phone call, you can answer questions and build trust and then it’s so much easier to sell your product or services.
So remember: The only goal of a cold email is to book a time on your calendar
