Mari Gowda, a close ally of Siddaramaiah, assumed the role of MUDA chairman on March 1 of this year. In light of the controversy, he stated that he felt no pressure from the Chief Minister regarding the ongoing MUDA scandal. Nevertheless, the high-profile nature of the case has attracted public attention and criticism.
Despite the mounting controversy, CM Siddaramaiah has remained unflustered. He addressed the issue with a sense of calm, asserting, "I have always felt the blessings of God in my life. There has never been a phase where God has not blessed me, which is why I have been in politics for so long." This statement was made during a floral tribute to Goddess Chamundeshwari as part of the Dasara festival, reflecting on his extensive political career amid the ongoing challenges.
