Ingredients:
UnSalted Butter – 90g,
Almond Slices – 120g,
Powder Sugar – 30g,
Jaggery (brown sugar) – 40g,
Salt – 2g,
Egg – 1 pc,
All purpose flour (maida) -160g,
Almond Powder – 40g,
Baking Temp – 170 – 180,
Time – 15 – 20 Minutes

Process:
Keep butter outside from the fridge and let it come to room temperature. Take 120 grams of almonds and slice them. You can use your slicer or knife for this.
Now take 90 grams of butter, butter should have smooth texture.
Take this butter into a bowl and beat it to form a creamy texture.
When butter gets creamy texture add 30 grams of powder sugar and 40 grams of juggery and mix till juggery melts in the butter.
You can replace juggery with powder sugar or with brown sugar.
Take one egg and add 2 grams of salt approximately 2 pinches, mix well, divide it into two parts, add one part and mix well, when all the egg mixed with the butter add second part and mix.
Take 160 grams of all purpose flour (wheat flour/cake flour/maida) and 40 grams of almond powder, sift and add. I took 40 grams of almonds and blend them into a powder.
Now mix to form a dough, when you don’t see any dry flour add the sliced almonds which we prepare in the beginning. Keep 2 – 3 tbsp of almond slices a side we will use them for decoration.
When almond slices mixed with the dough completely, take small quantity, make a round ball and place in a baking tray.
You can adjust the size according to your need. Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough. Don’t keep too near, while baking cookies will expand and may touch each other.
Now decorate with sliced almonds and press the dough slightly.
Now bake them in 170˚C - 180˚C for 15 to 20 minutes, adjust the time and temperature according to your oven type.
After 18 minutes our almond cookies are ready.Taste is delicious.
Keep in air tight container after they cool down to room temperature, then cookies will be fresh for a long time.
