This short but memorable variation of the Golden Goddess became part of the ballet La Bayadere thanks to the dancer Nikolai Zubkovsky Senior, who was a soloist at our theater from 1934 to 1946.
The dancer created this number for the 1948 performance, filling it with virtuoso jumps and original poses.
