"I've resigned," said Nitish Kumar this evening, hours after his party signed off on his decision to end his alliance with the BJP in Bihar; A total of 18 MLAs -- 9 each from the BJP and Shiv Sena faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde -- were sworn-in as ministers at a grand ceremony in Mumbai today. This much awaited cabinet expansion came 40 days after a rebellion by the Sena faction led by Mr Shinde brought down the Uddhav Thackeray-led government and other top stories.
